Overnight Fire Razes Osun CP’s House In Abeokuta
Property worth millions of naira were destroyed in an inferno that razed the Osun Commissioner of Police, Olawale Olokode’s house in Abeokuta overnight.
Though no life was lost and no injury sustained during the inferno that lasted for about two hours before it being put off, yet, the Olokode family members are still counting their loss.
Sympathizing with the police boss in Osun are His Excellency, the Executive Governor of the State of Osun, Mr Gboyega Oyetola, the Commissioner of Police Ogun State, CP Edward Ajogun Awolowo, Area Commander Abeokuta metropolis, and DPO Adigbe.
The Senior Police Officers were reported to have personally visited the scene of incident. Dr Tosin Odeyemi who is the President, Police and Personalities Forum [PAPEF] however described the incident as pathetic.
He urged the Osun State Commissioner to take heart and see it as what has been destined to be.
