Just In:Election Tribunal Affirms Re-election Of Governor Akeredolu
The re-election of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State last October has been affirmed by the Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Akure, the state capital.
The tribunal gave the verdict on Tuesday.
Akeredolu was declared winner of the October 10, 2020 governorship poll in Ondo State by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
He won with 292,830 votes, while the runner-up, Eyitayo Jegede of the Peoples Democratic Party had 195,791 votes.
