Gunmen Invade Katsina Community, Kill Four, Abduct Scores
Unknown gunmen suspected to be bandits attacked Tsayau community in Jibia Local Government Area of Katsina State, killing at least four persons.
It was gathered that the incident happened on Monday when the attackers stormed the community, shooting sporadically, and gunned down four before whisking unspecified number of residents to an unknown destination.
The lawmaker representing Jibia at the State House of Assembly, Mustapha Yusuf confirmed the incident to newsmen in Katsina.
He revealed that many other residents were also injured during the attack.
When contacted by the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Gambo Isa said he was in a meeting.
He promised to revert shortly.
