IOA Coordinator, Afolabi Greets Muslims At Eid

The Chief Coordinator, Iyiola Omisore Ambassadors (IOA), Engr. Kazeem Akinyele Afolabi, MNSE, has congratulated the governor of Osun State, Mr Gboyega Oyetola and entire Muslims in the state on the completion of this year Ramadan and Ei-del-Fitri ceremony.

Engr Afolabi who made this known in his congratulatory message, signed and made available to journalists at Ipetumodu, IFE North LGA said, “although this year Ramadan has come and gone, we as Muslims, must not depart from the lessons and virtues of the spiritually-rejuvenating month, while we must sustain the lessons the month had taught us and continue to replicate them in our daily lives and dealings with others”.

The Chief Coordinator, who also enjoined the entire Muslims brothers and sisters in the state to use the period of Eid-el-fitri to pray for Osun State used the medium describing governor Oyetola’s infrastructural interventions as non-discriminatory, said his administration has transformed the state beyond people’s expectation.

According to Afolabi, “I have never seen a pragmatic, focused and prudent Governor like you. You have done well for us and once a government is performing and sharing the dividends of democracy, there is no point to contemplate changing such a government”, he stated.

The statement added that, ” Oyetola’s administration is committed to equitable infrastructural development which is part of his efforts to give the State a facelift in development and to attract both local and international investors”

Afolabi, who enjoined people of the state not to relent in demonstrating their unflinching support to the incumbent administration in the state said the government cannot do it alone without their support.

Afolabi, who is a professionally certified Civil Engineer and Project Experts, described efforts by the incumbent administration in the state to construct flyover at Ola-Iya junction in Osogbo as a great lookahead for all road users while it’s a way of adding glamour and safe traffic management to the state headquarters.

While urging the entire residents of the state to be paying their taxes as and when due to enhance development, Afolabi said despite the lean purse of the state government, Governor Oyetola is trying his best to turn around the fortunes of the state for the betterment of the citizenry considering gigantic strides taken recently in health, infrastructures, human welfare amidst many.
