Ex-Osun PS SUBEB, Fatai Kolawole Bags NUJ Excellence Award

As a result of his commitment to the development of society and several positive interventions to all kinds of people, the Nigeria Union of Journalists has bestowed Excellence award on, Alhaji Abdulfatai Kolawole, immediate past permanent secretary of Osun State universal basic education board (SUBEB).

The top education echelon was honoured today along with eminent personalities which included Governor Gboyega Oyetola at the annual programme of the local government information chapel held at the state secretariat, Abere, the state capital.

While presenting the award to Oluomo of Modakeke, Ambassador Yemi Faronbi lauded his personality and contributions to mankind.

Speaking with newsmen immediately after his conferment, Kolawole described the award as a testimony to his unwavering commitment to the development of people and society.

He noted that the honour accorded him by the men of the fourth estate is a call to double his effort and assured the union that he will continue to do more and more.

In his words, Kolawole said, “let me begin by congratulating the leadership of this noble union for the spirited effort put in place to organize this laudable event, it is a clear indication of your commitment to building a virile information chapel and evidence of cooperation among members of the organization”
