RUGIPO Rector, Ogundahunsi Mourns Akeredolu’s Aide, Consoles With Family

The Rector of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Mr. Gani Adebola Ogundahunsi has described the sudden demise of the Chief of Protocols to the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, Barrister, Tosin Ogunbodede as tragic, sad, painful, and a monumental loss to the good people of Ondo state.
Recall that the late CoP, Ogunbodede who died in a ghastly car crash along Ilesha-Akure highway on Saturday, 2nd January, 2021 was until his political appointment a senior member of staff (Deputy Registrar, 2017 till death) in Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo.
The Rector who visited the home of the deceased in Owo alongside his Management team to commiserate with the family conveyed the heartfelt condolences of the Polytechnic Community to Mrs Funke Ogunbodede and admonished her to take solace in Christ as a great Comforter.
Ogundahunsi who described the late CoP as one of his finest officers also commiserated with the Visitor to the Polytechnic, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu (SAN) on this painful loss of a trusted aide and prayed to God to grant him the fortitude to bear the loss.
According to a statement made available to journalists in Akure on Monday by the Director, Public Relations and Protocol of the institution, Mr. Samuel Ojo, the Rector with a deep sorrowful heart shared in the pains of the entire RUGIPO staff on the irreparable loss of one of them and prayed to God to grant the deceased an eternal rest.
