New Year: Osogbo South LCDA Chair Aspirant, Fasola Distributes Clothing Materials, Wines To APC Leaders

A Senior Special Assistant to Governor Gboyega Oyetola and Chairmanship Aspirant of Osogbo South Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Honourable Dayo Fasola, on Wednesday, distributed clothing materials worth thousands of naira to all APC leaders in the council area.

The Osogbo born politician apart from the Ankara clothes also distributed exotic wines to APC stalwarts, Stakeholders and all the entire I56 APC Executives of the Osogbo South LG.

CityMirrorNews reports that The Dayo Fasola Movement’s Team stormed Iso-Ewe Olokuta in Isale Osun of Osogbo, the Osun State Capital where they were received by Honourable Taofeek Isola Baale. The Osogbo South LCDA APC ward 1 Chairman (Caretaker) , on behalf of all other (Caretaker) Chairmen and the entire Party Executives at Ward and Local Government level

Fasola, while distributing the material and Wines for the different APC groups said that the gesture was aimed at identifying with the people of her Constituency especially the APC Lieutenants.

According to her, since the New year is approaching, it is a period that such gesture becomes appropriate.

“Giving out these items to a total of 156 party Executives and other Leaders is to reach out , encourage and show appreciation to our people for their commitment to progressive ideals as exemplified in the Governor Adegboyega Oyetola’s led administration.

“This little gesture will further connect us with them, reminding them that they are perpetually in our mind and that we treasure their mandate ” Fasola said.

She further implored the people of the council to continue to support Governor Gboyega Oyetola in his bid to take the state to the greater heights.

Fasola who described Governor Oyetola as a silent achiever and God fearing administrator par excellence noted that despite the meager resources, Governor Oyetola has performed tremendously well within the space of two years.’

“I want to use this opportunity to appeal to the party leaders of this great council on the need to continue to support our amiable Governor and to start preaching the gospel of his good deeds to all the nooks and crannies of the state. As a matter of fact , our God fearing Governor has done tremendously well. Despite the meager resources he has achieved a lot in so many areas.”

The Chairmanship hopeful also sought the support of the party leaders in the area of her political ambitions saying she would use everything within her reach to bring unprecedented development to the council if given the opportunity to become the Chairman noting that she has had the opportunity to observe from the very best; her Principal that is; in the over two years he had been steering the ship of Osun State

She also urged residents of the state to celebrate the new year moderately, urging them to always adhere strictly to COVID-19 preventive measures in order to avert the spread of the pandemic in the state.

“I want to enjoin my people to be moderate while celebrating the new year. We should endeavour to abide by the laid down rules and regulations given by the state government. Covid-19 second wave is real and we need to do everything within our reach to curb it’s spread.

Appreciating the Chairmanship hopeful, Honourable Taofeeq Ishola Baale said they were thrilled and marvelled at the kind gesture of Honourable Fasola who he noted to have also given succour to the whole party hierarchy during the last Eid el Fitri festival. He thereafter pledged their continued support on all She embarks on.
