Osogbo South LCDA Chair Aspirant, Fasola Submits Interest Letter, Pledges Adequate Representation

A Special Assistant to Governor Adegboyega Oyetola and Chairmanship Aspirant of Osogbo South Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Honourable Dayo Fasola, has promised the people of her council proper and adequate representation if given the chance to serve as the Chairman of the council.

Fasola made the pledge while addressing party Ward Executives after she had submitted the letter indicating her expression of interest in the Chairmanship position of the council.

The Chairmanship hopeful who stormed APC ward 2 Isale Osun, Osogbo South LCDA, Osogbo, with a number of her supporters was giving a rousing welcome by enthusiastic executives of the party.

This, according to CityMirrorNews became necessary for aspirants to signify interest when the party announced few days ago that the APC Sectariats at Ward level should send in the names of interested parties.

Vowing to complement Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s developmental agenda if given the chance to serve, the Osogbo born politician said she would do everything within her capacity to complement the efforts of the Governor in his bid to move the state to a greater height.

Fasola also promised people oriented programmes in line with the Party’s manifesto.

She, urged the people of the council to support the Governor for the second term so as to be able to consolidate on the gains.

“Today, I submitted to the All Progressives Congress Ward 2 Isale Osun my Expression of interest in the Chairmanship position of Osogbo South LCDA.

“My Ward Executives particularly the Women gave a Spontaneous warm, warm welcome.

“I am grateful for the open, public display of affection ; thankful for the love, the songs and our little dance …it was a memorable moment Fam, She said.

She, however used the opportunity to sensitise the residents of the state on the need to always observe Covid-19 precautionary measures so as to be able to contain the pandemic.
