Eid al-Adha: AGF Felicitates With Muslims
…..Urges Them To Remain Committed To Nation’s Building
Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation (AGF) has congratulated Muslim faithful and across the world on the occasion of the 2020 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
AGF in a statement signed by its National Coordinator, Comrade Ishola Olateju, and made available to CityMirrorNews in Abuja on Friday urged Nigerians to remain commited to development of the country.
The group, however, urged citizens regardless of their religious beliefs to use this festive period to pray for an of the novel Coronavirus pandemic ravaging the world.
The statement reads in part;
Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation associates with Muslims across the world on the occasion of the 2020 edition of Eid-Ul-Adha (Ileya).
Ileya is a very unique, special and memorable Islamic festival that brings families, friends and relations together from far and wide aside numerous spiritual purity and abundant mercy that is embedded in it. We join our Muslim brothers and sisters to thank Almighty Allah for the opportunity to witness it again this year with good health and visible happiness.
The foundation associates with Nigerians particularly over the Coronavirus pandemic which made this year edition less with fun fare yet, we give glory to God for his guidance over all us that witness this celebration. Let us remain prayerful for the country as a whole and keep supporting the present government led by President Muhammadu Buhari.
As a group, we urge Nigerians to remain committed to the nation building as we belief our effort shall soon pay off and we will all reap the fruits of our labour.
