Fasola, Salutes Oyetola At 66, Describes Him As A Phenomenal Governor With The Midas Touch

A Chairmanship aspirant of Osogbo South Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon Dayo Fasola has congratulated Governor Gboyega Oyetola on the occasion of his 66th birthday.

Fasola in a congratulatory message she personally signed and made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Tuesday described her boss as an exceptional Achiever with the midas touch. She commended the Governor for his astounding giant strides within the short period he took the mantle of leadership. She described him as a peaceful, thoroughbred progressive and rare gift to the State.

Fasola who is the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Protocols said the celebrant is a Technocrat and silent Achiever with the Midas touch.

She disclosed that many people have been wondering how Governor Oyetola has been able to triumph despite the economic downturned currently bedeviling the country’s economy.

According to Fasola , Governor Oyetola within the space of 22 months has accomplished what the people of the state thought could not happen in the next four years due to the State’s meager resources.

She said his achievements cuts across every sectors ranging from full payment of salary, rehabilitation of health centres , road constructions, successfully halting the progression of the deadly Coronavirus amongst other notable achievements.

She went down the memory lane recounting how the Governor had been an outstanding philanthropist and financier of noble projects albeit silently.

“Our Governor Adegboyega Oyetola is a very quiet ,calm man. He is peaceful and a thoroughbred Progressive who would rather work in the background.

“There had been instances , way before His Excellency became a Governor, where as an Aide and a part of his team, we would get to Functions we know our Boss ‘financed the major part of, and H.E would rather take the backseat.
Anything to not draw attention to himself.

“This hardly goes down well with us Aides as we feel the least we can do is to get him as comfortable as we can , because we see him sacrificing himself, his time , his resources and his conveniences on daily ,per second basis and as a result, we would go all out to ensure we push for the least mini comforts we can.

“And he kicks against these most often. He feels most oft we are being fussy. He never liked that we are attracting “undue attention” to him by insisting he changes seat or by asking for airport support when he travels .

“He most often will face whoever he perceives as the ring leader of the ‘Drama’ with the trademark question ‘Look! What’s Your Problem !??’
‘Our Governor as a very peaceful man usually explores all peaceable means to resolve conflicts. His Excellency believes there is nothing patience cannot do. ‘

He has unwittingly mentored a whole lot of us simply by his example, by just been himself. He is indeed a rare gift to us and to our dear State at this moment in time. We pray for many more fruitful years and decades for His Excellency by the grace of God Almighty.
