EndSARS: Police Arrest 87 Suspected Looters In Osun

The Osun State Police Command has arrested no fewer than 87 suspects for allegedly looting private and public property, as hoodlums hijacked the #EndSARS protests.
Ademola Hamzzat, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, State CID, said this during the parade at the state command, Osogbo, Osun state capital.
CityMirrorNews recalls that following the current trend of #EndSARS protests in the country and the subsequent hijacking of the protests by hoodlums, the state witnessed the looting and destruction of property.
Consequently the state government imposed a 24-hour curfew to curb criminal activities of the miscreants.
Addressing journalists during the parade at the state command, Hamzzat said some of the looted items are being recovered.
He said investigation was ongoing and suspects would be arraigned in court upon completion.
