Edo Agog As Chris Ogiewmonyi Gives Out Sanitisers
In a drive towards ensuring governments’ efforts in tackling the spread of the deadly Coronavirus in Edo State, Engr. Chris Ogiewmonyi, a governorship aspirant in collaboration with a Non governmental Organization, Daisy Heart Initiative, has launched an awareness campaign to keep the people of the state abreast with information regarding the virus.
Tagged “EDO Together,” the awareness campaign would be basically on how to educate the people of the state across all the 18 local government areas of the state on dreaded disease to check the spread.
In a move to ensure the success of the awareness campaign, the group has constituted coordinators in the 18 local government areas of the state to midwife the programme
The group, which collaborated with the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant, is poised to share important health and wellness information about ways to reduce the spread of the coronavirus as well as sanitisers to the people free.
According to a pamphlet distributed by the group, “The group has already inaugurated its 18 LGA coordinators
“They would be going round sharing health tips on how to effectively curb the spread of the deadly disease.
“A team of medical doctors and personnel would be at hand to offer professional services.”
They vowed to use the same energy which they exhibited in their campaign to help put an end to this pandemic.
“Coronavirus is real, residents of Edo State have been advised to stay indoors and observe the highest level of personal hygiene as a case was recorded today in the State.”
The group enjoined the people of the state to avoid gatherings and ensure they regularly sanitize their surroundings, including doorknobs and surfaces frequently exposed to are highly necessary.
