Primary Election: ‘Tinubu Mandate Group’ Congratulates Gov. Akeredolu on victory

The ‘Tinubu Mandate Group’, has congratulated Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State on his victory at the just concluded party’s primary.
Recall that Governor Akeredolu polled 2,458 votes out of the 2,793 votes cast to defeat 11 other contestants on the election held on Monday.
In a statement made available to journalists in Akure, the state’s Chairman of the group, Pastor Olufemi Bakare, described the governorship primary as good exercise.
Akeredolu, who had enjoyed the benevolence of the National Leader of the party, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, according to Bakare, therefore, appealed to the governor to seek for the support of his co-contestants and members of the party so that APC would remain ruling for the next four years in the state.
“Electorates should please vote for Governor Akeredolu come October 10, so that he can complete his ongoing good projects in the state.
“I wish to call on all APC aspirants in the state to come together for a resounding success behind our flagbearer.
“This is the minimum we all can do in order to keep the flag of the progressive family flying higher,” he said.
Bakare, therefore commended the primary election committee headed by Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, all aspirants as well as their supporters for the feat.
