Christmas: Osun NNPP Rejoices With Christians, Cautions Against Coronavirus

As Christians all over the world celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Osun state chapter has charged residents not to forget the focused teaching of the festival, which is love.

The party enjoined the Christians to imbibe the sacrificial lession which the celebration of Christmas really connotes .

In a statement signed by the party chairman in Osun, Dr. Tosin Odeyemi, “love must supersede whatever we do in this period and less privileged should be able to smile through various charity.

Odeyemi urged well meaning Nigerians to, as a matter of fact, give back to the society in this season of love, spread love and preach love in the society.

He however cautioned people to adhere strictly to the Covid-19 precautionary measures so as to avoid xommunity transmission.

Odeyemi noted that the virus is still very much around and we shouldn’t forget that only a living can celebrate.
