AUDA-NEPAD NIGERIA Engages NACETEM To Carry Out 2nd Peer Review Of The Country’s Socio-economic Development
The AUDA-NEPAD NIGERIA (African Union Development Agency) has engaged the National Centre for Technology Management (NACETEM) to carry out the 2nd Peer Review of the Federal Republic of Nigeria’s socio-economic development.
The engagement was signed and sealed on Monday, 24th August, 2020 at NEPAD office in Abuja.
The Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of NACETEM, Engineer Professor Okechukwu Ukwuoma, represented by Ms. Adeyemi Ademidun, the Coordinator, NACETEM North-Central Office, Abuja and the Agency’s Legal Officer, Mrs Onifade Titilayo, described the engagement as an increased recognition of NACETEM as the nation’s science, technology and innovation think-tank.
The scope of the engagement involves data gathering in the area of research methodology on the thematic area as follows: to generate the methodology of the survey; to generate sampling framework: to generate the techniques of field work: to generate and analyse data from AU-APRM review questionnaires; to generate the National Programme of Action (NPoA); to draft report on the to thematic area in view of the questionnaires; and to study the recommendations of the first review and draw report on its implementation on the given thematic area.
