Ondo 2020: Ataunoko Emerges NRM Governorship Candidate

Hon. Funmilayo Jenyo Ataunoko, has emerged winner of the National Rescue Movement (NRM), governorship primary election in Ondo state.
Ataunoko, who was the only candidate of the party for the forthcoming October 10 gubernatorial election said this was the time for the party to take over from the ruling APC led government in the state.
While speaking during the exercise, the National Officers of the party that conducted the exercise, Afuye Olusola and Muhammed Dirisu Isah said, “by the support of the people of the state and other party members, we will take over government of Ondo state, come October 10 2020.”
The National Officers, therefore, urged them to ensure they work together for the victory of the party.
Similarly, the National Chairman of the party, Senator Saidu Mohammed Dansadau, gave an assurance that the party is ready to work together with INEC to conduct a credible and transparent election.
CityMirrorNews reports that the election was monitored and supervised by the INEC official, security agents, journalists among others.
