Governor Akeredolu made the disclosure on Saturday in Akure while speaking at this year 2020 DAVID’S DANCE Thanksgiving and end of the year programme, organized by the Klick Konnect Networks.

The Governor, who was represented by his Special Adviser on Rural and Community Development, Rotimi Kolawole said, “my administration will continue to partner with private sectors so that more investors can come to the state and with this, the issue of unemployment among our youths will be taken care of.”

Akeredolu who described the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Klick Konnect Networks, Alex Ajipe as a blessing to Ondo state and Nigeria at large, said he (Ajipe) has done a lot through his company to lift many out of poverty by creating employment opportunities for them.

“The success of my administration can’t be completed without mentioning your name with what you have done by bringing investors to our dear state. The Ondo-Linyin was facilitated by your company and today, it has employed over 1000 indigene and non indigenes of the state,” he said.

In his earlier welcome address, the MD/CEO of Klick Konnect Networks, Alex Ajipe stated that David’s Dance which is an annual Thanksgiving of the company was a covenant between him and God.

According to him, the theme for this year’s celebration “Exceeding Grace”, was chosen to thank God for his mercy and grace upon all the staffs of the company for keeping them safe and healthy even through the pandemic.

Ajipe said, “We started this David Dance four years ago, it is a covenant between me and God and I will continue to do it every year because God has been so faithful to me, my family and staff of this organization.

“Many organizations like this have a lot of challenges this year due to COVID-19 pandemic, many lost their job, but here in Klick Konnect Networks, we did not sack a single staff. Instead, we employ more.

“In the coming year by God’s grace, we will be establishing a modular refinery that will change fresh cassava to dry one. This will give employment opportunities to at least 200 people and we will engage our farmers too. This will be done through our cassava revolution programme.

“We will partner with our farmers to plant cassava in large quantities, we will provide them every necessary materials like stem, fertilizer and tractor while we also buy the same cassava from them. This and many more opportunities are coming through Klick Konnect Networks next year by God’s grace.”

Some of the gospel artists that participated in this year’s David’s dance includes Bukola Bekes, TemiloluwaCOG, Sumbo Adegoke, Mariam Ajipe and RCCG praise team.
