Osun RCCG Sanitation Ministry Distributes Palliatives To People With Disabilities, Aged

The Redeemed Christian Church of God Breakthrough Sanitation Ministry Osun Province 1 Osogbo, has distributed relief items to widows, people with disabilities, members of the church and other needy in the society as palliative measures to cushion the effect of stay-at-home order occasioned by COVID 19 pandemic.

Speaking during the distribution of house to house relief items, the head of RCCG Breakthrough Sanitation Ministry Mr. Sunday Adeagbo said that the gesture was put in place by the department with the religion doctrine and according to the the directive of the General Oversea of RCCG Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye that food items must be given to assist members and the needy in the society to reduce the pains citizen of the country are experiencing as a result of the total lockdown.

The HOD Sanitation Ministry stated further that the efforts which was finance by Sanitation Ministry under the umbrella of the church is the second bacth since the inception of the total lockdown is the policy of Sanitation Ministry as a corporate social responsibility to impact to members of the ministry,other needy in the church and the society at large.

Mr Adeagbo added that the efforts which was carried out is to compliment the previous efforts done by the church is also meant to ensure that the department give back to members of the church and the society in general.

The head of Sanitation Ministry in the church pointed out that love is not only expressed through words but in acts, calling on all well meaning Nigerians to come to the aids of the less privileged in the society through various developmental programme that will make our society a safe place to leave.

He enjoined beneficiaries of the relief items and other residents of the state to always stay safe and comply with the directive of the government on social distancing, uses of facemask, washing of hands regularly and the uses hands sanitizer after washing hands.

Appreciating the gesture put in place by the church department, one of the beneficiaries Pa Joel Adewimi thank RCCG Sanitation Ministry Osogbo for delivery the food items from house to house,prayed that God almighty will blessed all members of the team for distributing the food items.
