Blossom Hearts Foundation Donates Cash, Food Items In Osogbo, To Mark 2nd Anniversary

A Non-governmental organization, Blossom Hearts Foundation, last Saturday, celebrated her 2nd anniversary, with a significant gesture at an orphanage home in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.

The charity organization, under the leadership of Otunba Olubukola Olamilekan Ayodeji, donated cash and several other food items to Abiye Orphanage home, located in Agowande area of the metropolis.

The management of the Orphanage home in it’s reaction lauded the good gesture of BHF, saying it really reflected a sense of benevolence and love, as the children, who are major beneficiaries welcomed the organisation with loud ovation.

The food items, which comprise of bags of rice, beans, packs of semolina, noodles, toiletries, among other items were donated by a team of volunteers led by the C.E.O of the organization, Princess Esther Asagunla- Ogunbadewa, also known as Queen Esther.

Princess Ogunbadewa, while presenting the gift items said the group decided in her usual way to mark the 2nd anniversary by identifying with the less privileged, especially the children at the orphanage homes.

She said, “We came here today to celebrate our anniversary with you by bringing these items to you out of what God has blessed us with.

” We believe as a charity organization that we hold it as a responsibility to support the needy in a moment of joy like this.

She, however, implored well meaning individuals and groups in the country to always support the poor and the less privileged, for the purpose of developing the society.

Members of the foundation, who came from different parts of the country, including Abuja, Lagos, Ibadan, Minna, Ijebu-Ode, Owo, Akure and Ile-Ife, to witness the event, later gathered at Zeebaf hotel event hall, for the anniversary celebration, where new members were inducted.

Meanwhile, the highlights of the 2nd anniversary celebration include seminar on economic viability of members and medical test for members to know their health status.

Some members were also recognized for their outstanding performances, as they were presented with awards of excellence, among whom was the C.E.O of the group; she was honoured for her outstanding leadership qualities.

Recall that the foundation was inaugurated in the year 2018, with the aim of wiping tears and supporting the downtrodden, aside effective coordination and support of members to ensure their progress through social media platform.
