Osun Council Boss Dies
The Chairman of Ejigbo local government of Osun State, Hon Gbenga Ayegbayo, is dead.
Ayegbayo died in the early hours of Monday at a private Hospital, Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
A senior officer of the council, who preferred anonymity, confirmed the chairman’s death, saying, “he has been battling with an undisclosed illness for months before he finally died on Monday April 6th.
The source told CityMirrorNews that the burial arrangements for the deceased will be announced at the appropriate time.
The council official, who described the late Ayegbayo as a good man who brought developments to the area, prayed to God to grant him eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
Ayegbayo was a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress and was elected Chairman of Ejigbo LG in 2018
