Osun Honours Oguntominiyi, Others With State Merit Award

Ijesa born renowned technocrat, Engr Yemi Oguntominiyi who is the Director Highways, Construction and Rehabilitation, Federal Ministry of Works & Housing was part of the honorees who received the State of Osun Merit Award on Wednesday.

The event presided over by Governor Gboyega Oyetola saw varying awards going to illustrious sons and daughters of the state for their commitment, passion and quest in contributing their quota to the development of Osun.

His wife, Mrs. Comfort Oguntominiyi, received the award on his behalf as he was away to 2019 National Council on Works holding in Calabar, Cross River State.

Others who were conferred with the Prestigious State Productivity Order of Merit award include Chief Rotimi Obesun, Dr Segun Aina, Mr Kehinde Ayantunji, Engr Olanrewaju Adeleke among others.

Governor Oyetola In his remarks urged those honoured not to relent but be more committed to their course of benefitting the humanity and the progress of Osun in their chosen field of endeavour.
