Beware Of Fraudsters And Fake Payment Websites – Osun Poly, Iree Warns Students

The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree has warned the general public, especially students of the Institution, newly admitted and prospective students of the Polytechnic to beware of fraudsters who are making attempts to hack into the accounts of the Institution by creating fictitious accounts for payment of some unauthorized fees in the name of the Institution into such nefarious accounts.
This warning is contained in a statement signed by Registrar of the Polytechnic, Mr. Busari Salawu and made available to the press.
The Registrar stated that it is unfortunate that some scammers are making attempts to hack into the website of the Institution to demand for unauthorized payment by prospective applicants into the various programmes of the Institution.
The statement said “Consequent upon this, the Management warns intending applicants and newly admitted candidates not to pay any money into any account or link created by the fraudsters other than the official account on the website of the Institution.”
“The Registrar enjoined the candidates to check the website of the Institution @ospoly.edves.net for details for payment of statutory fees of the Institution.”
