Oyo Hosts Aisha Buhari, VP Wife, Govs Wives, Others

Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State will on today Saturday, January 19, 2019 host the All Progressives Party (APC) South West Women and Youth Presidential campaign rally.
The wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, Wife of the Vice President, Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo, wives of governors across the country and women as well as youth leaders are expected at the rally to be held at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, Oke Ado, Ibadan by 10am.
The Wife of the Ekiti State Governor, Mrs. Bisi Fayemi, who is also the South West Zonal Chairperson of the Media Committee of the APC Women and Youth Presidential Campaign Team disclosed this on Thursday saying that women, youth and party faithful and supporters across the South West zone are expected at the rally.
Mrs. Fayemi said that the wife of the Oyo State Governor is coordinating the event in her capacity as the South West Coordinator for Women and Youth Presidential Campaign, while the wife of each of the South Western State viz: Mrs. Bolanle Ambode of Lagos State, Mrs. Olufunso Amosun of Ogun State, Mrs. Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu of Ondo State and Mrs. Kafayat Oyetola of Osun State will lead women and youth from their respective states.
She said that the Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi will be the chief host of the event designed by the wife of the President, Mrs. Aisha Buhari and other top women and youth leaders of the ruling party to mobilize women and youth for active participation in the forthcoming elections and a violence-free electoral process.
Mrs. Fayemi urged the electorates to vote wisely in the forthcoming elections so that the nation can consolidate on the laudable achievements of the APC government in the areas of massive infrastructural renewal, improved security, diversification of the national economy and the significant arrest of corruption and national drift.
