Breaking: UNIOSUN Students Protest SARS Alleged Extortion, Barricade Campus Road
The students of Osun State University Ikire Campus early Friday morning staged protest over SARS alleged harassment.
It was gathered that some people alleged to be SARS officers bursted some hostels around school area on Thursday night and forced some students to transfer money to them.
One of the protesting students who pleaded anonymity said One hundred and fifty thousand which is the victim’s school fees was forcefully collected.
She further said that it was not the first time such incident would occur .
“In two days, over two hundred and fifty thousand has been forcefully collected from students.”
However, some police officers and community stakeholders have arrived the scene for resolution.
