Four NDLEA Officials Killed While On Duty By Gunmen In Ondo

Four men of the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agencies (NDLEA), Ondo State Command, have been reportedly killed by unknown gunmen along Ikaro road check point via lfon in Ose Local Government area of Ondo State.
It was gathered that the men were killed on Sunday evening by unknown gunmen suspected to be drug dealers while on duty.
A soure who craved anonymity said the dead bodies of the NDLEA officials were found by some farmers on their way from farm along the Ikaro check point in the early hours of yesterday.
According to him, when their bodies were discovered, their guns were not found with them.
He said, “our society is no more safe, if armed men are being gunned down like that”.
The NDLEA Commander in the state, Mr Haruna Dagara, who confirmed the incident said he just got the confirmation.
“Our men have gone to evacuated the corpses from the scene and other paramilitary agencies are on ground”.
