Oyo Govt Appoints Olatunde Ajayi As BCOS GM

Oyo state government has appointed Mr Olatunde Ajayi as the General Manager of Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS), CityMirrorNews.com has gathered.

His appointment is with effect from May 1, 2019.

Mr. Ajayi until his appointment was the Director of Programme at the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS). With this appointment, Mr.
Ajayi will be the General Manager of BCOS.

Meanwhile, the Oyo State Head of Service (HoS), Mr. Olawumi Ogunesan has urged the new GM to stick to the tenets of the civil service, calling on him not to relent in his commitment, dedication and quality service delivery to the civil service, which earned him the appointment.

CityMirrorNews.com rẹcalls that Oyo State government had in January last year redeployed hundred of staff of the station.

Secretary to the state government, Mr. Olalekan Alli, had also said the redeployment was not a witch hunt.
