O’Ambulance Equipped For Good Service Delivery-GM
Osun Ambulance Services Paramedics and Drivers have been charged to always be at alert in the discharge of their duties, to the plight of road traffic accident victims, whose lives and survival is in their hands during the emergency period.
The General Manager Osun Ambulance Services Agency, Dr Olusegun Babatunde gave the charge during the monitoring of O’Ambulance zones in the state of Osun.
He posited that the investment of high tech ambulances by Osun government under the administration of Governor Gboyega Oyetola, made the state to have the highest number of emergency ambulance services in the country.
He relayed the line up policies and programs approved by Governor Gboyega Oyetola towards saving of lives and promotion of healthy living, and he affirmed that challenges encountered during medical emergency on any accident victim will be handled well, and to the barest minimum.
Dr Babatunde reiterated that live saving of victims in cases of accident is priority for Osun Ambulance Services Agency during medical emergency and referral.
He further charged the O’Ambulance drivers to ensure that their vehicles are in good order to operate well during emergency or referral period.
He attributed the success of the free 24 hours services to Osun people irrespective of affiliations, from the 400 trained and disciplined paramedics to good governance.
Dr Babatunde, however, urged all stakeholders to complement the effort of the government over the community service duty.
The zones and strategic areas visited during the monitoring are Ikirun zone, Ile-Ife zone, Ede zone, Ilesa zone among others.
