Perturbed by the spate of kidnapping and other nefarious activities in the country, a renown group known as ‘ Osun Koya” on Monday, described the acts as inhuman callous and wicked, calling on the appropriate authorities to act fast before it disintegrates the country.

The group in a statement signed by its national coordinator,Samuel Olaitan and the director, Israel Ademola felt dissatisfied with the development and gave the federal government a-7 day ultimatum to address the issue of insecurity in the country or face its wrath.

The statement which decried the way and manner the Afenifere leader’s daughter, Mrs. Funle Olakunri (nee Fasoranti) was callously  killed along Benin- ore road three days ago, revealed that, if the criminal acts problems are not tackled within the stipulated seven days, it would not hesitate to drag the ruling government into the court of law.

It also condemned the killings of other Nigerians especially in the south western part of the country and called for caution.

The group therefore lambasted the Fulani herdsmen for their unholy and criminal activities in the country and warned them to desist from such before it would be too late.

It’s spokespersons however maintained that, all necessary arrangement had been made by the group to see that, the inhuman act is addressed through a legal means.

According to him, “the group believes in the rule of law and since it cannot take law into its hand to address the matter, it has contacted its able legal luminaries who would act appropriately to fight the matter headlong.”

“We are for peace but we ready  ever battle ready to reject oppression suppression and victimization.

The group which further stated that, there was no monopoly of power, descried the lukewarm attitude of Mr. President in handling the security matter of the country as shoddy and uncalled for, worried how lives of innocent people in the south west and other parts of the country have been untimely claimed.
