Oranmiyan Congratulates Osun House Of Assembly Members-Elect

A sociocultural organization, Oranmiyan worldwide, has congratulated all the Osun House of Assembly members-elect on their victory in the just concluded Saturday’s House of Assembly election.

The group in a statement signed by its Director General, Mr Olajide Sadiq and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, on Monday, described their victory as a well deserved considering their political contribution in each of their constituencies.

Sadiq noted that their victory is an attestation that people of the constituencies desire good representation.

The Oranmiyan DG further explained that the outcome of the House of Assembly election is further proof of the popularity of APC in the state.

According to Sadiq, the emergence of 22 APC candidates to the state House of Assembly seats is an attestation to the fact that people of Osun state have trust in APC .

He said, “Osun people desire good and quality representations at the State House of Assembly and that was the reasons why they trooped out en masses to cast their votes for APC.

“As a matter of fact, this is a victory for the progressives and we, members of Oranmiya worldwide congratulate our party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the success achieved in said election.

“We want to use this medium to appeal to all the members-elect on the platform of our great party to see this as a great opportunity to further provide dividends of democracy through meaningful and life impacting bills.

He said that he has confidence in them that they would not disappoint the people who freely gave them their votes.

“The APC won 22 out of 25 Assembly seats whose results were declared on Sunday by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

“The party is leading comfortably in Oriade State Constituency, the only State Constituency whose result was declared inconclusive by the electoral agency.”
