Two Killed, Five Injured as I.D Gyang Condemn Attacks on Constituents

Unknown gunmen on Sunday night killed two people and injured five others in an attack on Nding Loh village in Fan District of Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.
They hitherto peaceful village was attacked around seven o’clock in the night. The five injured people are currently receiving treatment in the hospital.
Meanwhile, the Senator representing Plateau North Senatorial District, Istifanus Gyang has expressed sadness overg the killings, describing it as ‘unfortunate’.
According to Hon. Musa Ashoms,
SA Media and Protocol, Gyang said that the attack was regrettable adding that the district has not come out of the attack in Vatt, Rubung in Foron District.
He said, “I am shocked and sad that after several appeals for Peace and Unity in Plateau North Senatorial District, my constituents are witnessing attacks while several lives have been lost”.
“This is regrettable that when we have not recovered from the attacks in Vatt, Rubung in Foron District where lives were lost, we are here confronted with another sad moment. Yesterday (Sunday) Nding Loh of Barkin Ladi LGA was attacked around seven o’clock leaving two persons killed and five others injured”.
The Deputy Chairman, Senate Committee on Defence condemned the attacks on his constituents. “I condemn the murder of my constituents at this time that we are putting efforts to reconcile the entire Plateau North for peaceful coexistence.
Gyang reiterated that he remains focused and committed to the mandate given to him, “to secure the people, reconcile the people and and empower the people of Plateau North.”
