I Organize Leadership Prayer For Public Interest -Oluwo

Oluwo of Iwoland, HIM Oba (Dr.) Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has said his regular leadership prayer has neither religious nor political affiliation but for general interest.

He disclosed that the purpose of his regular leadership prayer was for public interest, noting that divined direction for nation’s leaders at providing quality representation can only be achieved through God’s guidance.

Oba Akanbi described every leader as anointed , saying prayer for pure spiritual direction from God is a mark expected of every patriotic citizen irrespective of religious and party affiliate.

Oluwo stated this on Thursday in his palace during a special prayer for the state government of Osun under the leadership of Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola .

Speaking at the event, the representative of the governor, Dr. Rafiu Olasunkanmi Uzamot, appreciate Oluwo for his compassionate, doggedness and unrepentant progressive leadership proficiency at catapulting Iwo to the limelight.

Dr. Uzamot charged Osun citizens to embrace digital governance in Osun State at taking her people to the next level.

He implored religious leaders and other traditional rulers to borrow a leaf from Oluwo with spiritual supplications to drive the vehicle of progress since the inception of progressive governance in Osun.

“According to Oluwo ” The bottom line of my regular leadership prayers are for general interest. Pure spiritual direction is only achievable through God. When leaders are guided naturally, citizens enjoy. My primary investment is building people, one of which is my frequent prayers for quality direction”

“Prayer for leaders is prayer for oneself. Also, it is a mark of a patriot to pray for leaders irrespective of your religious and party affiliation. My leadership prayer jumps religious and party attachment. I launch the prayer for Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State to sustain his good beginning, build on legacies of his predecessor and improve the tempo of digital governance of Aregbesola”

“Oyetola is an asset with dynamic intellect to lead Osun. I’m arresting his ills to be mine and replace with sound health, administrative proficiency and Godly direction to successfully govern the state. God should design him such that the citizens with beg him for second term”

“I challenge religious leaders and traditional rulers bearing spiritual paraphernalia to borrow a leaf through prayers for the leaders to catapult Nigeria , Osun State to a better level.

The session was well attended by various religious leaders among which were : Wazeer of Yoruba land, Sheik Yaqub Abdulbaaqi, Chief Imam of Iwoland, Sheik Abdulfatai Olododo, National President of Ta’awun Jama’atul Mumini, Sheik Daud Imran Molaasan, General commandant of Harmonized Vigilante Group in Nigeria , Alhaji Rilwan Hussein Yaa Salam, Chairman of Iwo East Local Council Development Area, Hon. Rahman Lawal and many other notable personalities.

Yaa Salam condemned the activities of some monarchs promoting illegal mining in Osun which has adversely posed threat to our security, he commended Oluwo for his peculiarity in true administration and implored other Obas to borrow a leaf from the digital Oluwo.
