Children Day: Investment In Children Is One Of My Integral Plans – Amere

The honourable representing Iwo Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Abuja, and one of the potential governorship aspirants under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon. Abdulgafar Akintayo Amere has said he will lift the children has exemplified by the leadership style of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola if elected the governor of Osun State.

He noted children are the major asset to a greener future, calling on parents to complement government’s efforts in the upbringing of their children.

Amere said he has supported human capacity development in both public and private sectors as part of his proactive step to make them useful individual in the future.

The honourable stated this at the 3rd annual children day organized by Oluwo held at the Bowen University pitch in Iwo, the headquarters of Osun West Senatorial district, Osun State.

Amere stated about three skill acquisition centres are strategically built to cater for his constituency, constructed schools for both public and private schools to build the mind and make children and youth an independent fellow in no distance time.

In his words ” I’ve built skill acquisition centres specializing in different vocational trainings. I’ve in Iwo. There is one in Igege in Ola Oluwa Local Government. Many apprentices have graduated. Those freed were empowered with working machines, tools and cash as capital .The formal centres of learning are not left out. I’ve built many classrooms for public and privates schools in Iwo, Ayedire and Ola Oluwa local governments. Recently, I built lecture halls for Al- Ummah College of Education in Iwo”

“I’ve chosen to unrepentantly invest in children. There is no going back on the resolution. I’ve been doing it and will continue to. There are two primary means to invest in children future- Qualitative education and skill acquisition”

“All these are preparations to groom the youth for tomorrow. I’m resolute. I’ve facilitated employment for my constituents and beyond. I will do more If given the opportunity to become the governor, welfare of youth and children will be primary aspects of my integral plans” Amere
