Entrepreneur Is The Antidote To Unemployment-Dr Adereti

Government have been asked to do the needful by settling the imbroglio between the Proprietor of Innovation and Vocational Institutions and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) so as put paid to all crisis brewing between the two.

This admonition was given by the founder of IFE Business School, Parakin, Ile-Ife, Dr. Makinwa Adereti at the 2018 Annual General Meeting/Conference of Association of Proprietor of Innovation & Vocational Institutions (APIVI) hosted by IFE Business School, Parakin, Ile-Ife.

“According to him, Innovation Enterprise Institutions (IEI’s) remains the best to salvage our nation from monolithic economy because we are more of practical than theory.”

“Right now, entrepreneur is the best way to go to make our future leaders to be self-reliant without looking for non-existent jobs.”

Meanwhile, the communique issued at the end of the conference signed by the Association’s President, Dr. Andrews Jegede said: that federal government should gazette the National Innovation Diploma (NID) and Higher National Innovation Diploma (HNID) awarder by the Institutions; put measure to strengthen skill acquisition programme through Innovation Enterprise Institutions and Vocational Enterprise Institutions; that the Hon. Minister of Education should intervene in the tussle between NBTE and APIVI.

The AGM was attended by over 100 of the 165 licensed by the Federal Ministry of Education (FME) and National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to award certificate/Diploma in Innovation Enterprise Institutions.
