CityMirrorNews correspondent, who monitored the exercise at the Olorunda and Osogbo Local Government areas in Osogbo, the Osun state capital of Osun, reports that the congress was peaceful.
Speaking, a chieftain of PDP in the State, Senator Olu Alabi, assured the people of the party’s readiness to heed the call of the people of the state to come and take over from the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, come September this year.
Senator Alabi who spoke in his local government, Olorunda, said “the people of Osun are waiting for us and I can assure you, we are ready to take over under the leadership of Hon Soji Adagunodo.

“The Osun people are waiting for PDP. As the first gubernatorial candidate of PDP in the state, I have been in party politics for some times, I have not seen any government as horrible as this one. They are not starting any form of employment, they are not creating any employment, they are even trying to drive the little business away through exhaustive taxation.
