Yunus Akintunde Optimistic Of Succeeding Ajimobi

The former Commissioner for Works and Transport in Oyo State, Alhaji Yunus Akintunde, has expressed optimism that he will succeed the incumbent governor of the state, Abiola Ajimobi in the 2019 Governorship elections.
He stated this while featuring on a radio programme monitored by our correspondent in Ibadan.
Alhaji Akintunde who is the first PhD holder in Energy and Environment who noted that within a year of his government if elected, the state’s electricity problems will be half solved.
The former commissioner said if he is given the chance to lead Oyo state, his government will focus on three things; human capacity development, socio- economic development and infrastructure development.
“There is poverty in the state and I am fully ready to take the state out of poverty.”
On the state of the nation, Akintunde said there is no doubt that people are suffering in the country and they are not happy.
He pointed out that the issue of security in country has not been properly taken care of charging the government to take responsibility of the people who voted for them.
