Ahead of September 22 governorship election in Osun State, the Deputy National Youth Leader aspirant under the All Progressive Congress, APC, Hon Mustapha Mudasir Ayanfe has called on all intellectual young Nigerians to join politics and participate actively in order to move the entire nation to greater level.

Ayanfe made this call today during a chat with CityMirrorNews in Osogbo the Osun State capital.

Ayanfe who is also the Senior Special Assistant , SSA on Media Matter to Governor Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola of the state noted that, the meaningful youth political participation will give opportunity to young intellectuals to submit their own ideas, inspiration and their all-in-all in political decisions that can enhance future plan.

The Ejigbo born politician who reiterated his readiness in fighting for the upliftment and betterment of youths in the Country emphasised that, youth are the best age bracket that can boost social and developmental processes to achieve good governance.

According to Ayanfe, “Youth political participation in governance will surely captures the involvement of youth in working for planning and decision-making affecting others in the democratization process.

Once we the youth shun thuggerism and all social vices in Politics, we can get it right by electing our own from Councillor to President” He stated.

Ayanfe who quoted the African Youth Charter, “Africa’s greatest resource is its youthful population and that through their active and full participation, Africans can surmount the difficulties that lie ahead” said youths in the Country should wake up from their slumber as this is the best time for them to rise to the challenges ahead.

Ayanfe who was an activist and Student Union Leader listed some of his programmes for the youths of the Country if eventually he win the election into the office of the APC Deputy National Youth Leader which includes, Progressive Intellectual Network, PIN, which would enable all the youths to synergies nation wide as well as creating room for the youths and to obtain nomination form into various political offices at affordable price which will not be equal to the elderly normal rates among other.

While speaking on the forthcoming governorship election in the state, Ayanfe said nothing would stop his party from winning the election, saying the incumbent governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has already worked for it.

The SSA, who called on all the youths across the nation to demonstrate their unalloyed support to his ambition, however enjoined youths not to allow themselves to be used by any politician before, during and after coming election in the state while they should always be law abiding.

I will create a website where we interact and engage various youths (Progressives Intelectual Network PIN) from the ward level to the National level and the
Diasporas and act appropriately on the feedbacks.

WELFARISM

I will be partnering with various state government agencies and FG Ministries/Parastatals to get the best offers for the Nigerian Youth.

PROMOTION OF OUR GREAT PARTY

I will collaborate with publicity office of the Party by promoting and propagating our party and government activities as well get a robust feedback from the public.

SEEK REDUCTION OF ELECTIVE POST FEES FOR YOUTH

I will work hand in hand with National Youth Leader by appealing to National Working Committee to reduce the price of elective post to 10% of the normal fees for youth who want to partake in Election so that the motive behind #NotTooYoungToRun can be materialise.
