Obaseki Approves 200 Jobs For Ovia North East LG 

Edo state government has approved 200 jobs for the people of Ovia North East Local GoverArea of the state.

Ovia North East Local Government Area APC chairman in the state, Amb. Etinosa Ohiengbomwan Ighodaro, disclosed this on the sidelines of the swearing-in Ceremony of the party chairmen on Monday.

He commended the government initiative towards curbing the excesses of restive youths in the locality and consolidate on the gains of democracy ahead of 2019 general elections.

“Godwin Obaseki had approved 200 appointments for unemployed youths in my Local Government. There are some Local government that will get a higher number of the appointments. 

“My victory was a product of hardwork which began four years ago. 

“We will give APC the highest votes in 2019 general elections. I did it before and we will replicate it again. We had 94 percent from my ward in 2015 polls.

Ighodaro, revealed that those asking the President not to seek re-election ahead of 2019 general elections as impatient and desperate politicians.

“Nigerians do not endure enough. Mr. Muhammadu Buhari is the best president that has led this Country. 

“There is no reason for agitation. Everybody wants to grab the money from government through hook or crook. The president has laid a solid foundation for Nigerians.

“When you work, money will come. People should come out and work. When you that you are consistent, you will get the reward in due time”, hetc said.

According to him, “Another reason why some leaders get disappointed while the are in office is because they come in with so much expectations”.
