2019 Election: Fadahunsi Emerges Osun East Senatorial Candidate Of PDP
Prince Francis Fadahunsi has emerged the senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Osun East Senatorial District in the next year general election.
Prince Fadahunsi polled 541 votes to defeat his closest contestant, Erelu Olusola Obada, a former deputy governor who polled 461 votes during the primaries conducted at hotel De Charity Osogbo.
The chairman, electoral panel for the PDP in Osun East and West, Ambassador Ibrahim Bala-Aboki announced who announced prince Fadahunsi as the party’s flag bearer for Ife-Ijesa senatorial district in the forthcoming general elections described the exercise as credible and commended the delegates for their peaceful conduct.
Speaking, the winner thanked all the delegates who entrusted him with their mandate pledging to represent well if he won the Ife-Ijesa seat in the upper chamber.
The first runner up, Erelu Obada embraced Prince Fadahunsi and congratulated him for clinching the party’s ticket for the election, saying PDP remains one big happy family.
