Kwara North Is Not Marginalised-KWSG

Kwara State Government has denied the rumour that some cmmunities in Kwara North are been marginalised in terms of infrastructural development.
The Senior Special Assistant to Governor on Media and Communications, Dr Muideen Akorede made this known while featuring on a radio programme on Friday in Ilorin.
Akorede reiterated commitment of Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed led administration to bring impactful development to every part of the state amidst scarce resources.
He noted that Kwara State University, Malete is situated in Moro Local government, Kwara North Senatorial district as well as ongoing KWASU School Agriculture, Ilesha Baruba.
He added that Kishi-Kaiama Road started by Kwara State before federal government takes over the project in 2017 and Ilesha-Baruba-Gwanara Road are situated in Kwara North.
The Governor’s Media Aide explained that Kwara North Senatorial district has large landmass, noting that no government can implement developmental works at once.
“All over the world, no government can meet Infrastructure gap and there will be need for government to embark on development programmes. Kwara State government has not and would not neglect any part of the state. I will urge people to be patient with incumbent government led by Governor Ahmed.” Akorede added.
