Osun 2018: I Am A Father Of The Governor-Oluwo

The Oluwo of Iwoland, HIM Oba (Dr) Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has said he wants to be addressed as the father of the Governor of Osun in 2018, praying the people of Iwoland to be proactive in claiming the coveted seat of the number one citizen irrespective of political affiliation.

Oluwo hinted disunity has caused the land many ills, tasking politicians in Iwoland to speak in unison towards the common goal of producing the next governor of the state of Osun.
Oba Akanbi made the disclosure while addressing multitude crowd on Saturday at the 2017 Ogbaagbaa Day celebration held at Ogbaagbaa, Ola-Oluwa Local Government of Osun State.
Oluwo described Iwo as an ancient city, a barren eldest wife that nurses the children of his step.
He said, 2018 is expected to be a compensation for Iwoland for years of suffering by the Sons and daughters of the ancient city.
He,however, tasked people to seek the position in the name of God and those He has crowned in the office.
“Iwo is like a barren eldest wife. She cares for the children of his steps, nurses them to greatness but still childless. As a natural and divined monarch, the time is ripe for God to answer her prayer. 2018 is for the compensation. By God’s grace, my son in Iwoland will lead Osun. And I will be called father of the Governor”
“I appeal to all politician in Iwoland to be ready, secure the ticket in your respective party and play maturely. It is non negotiable. We are due for it. The God that installed Aregbesola, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Bisi Akande and the Late Isiaka ADELEKE is ready for ours” said Oluwo
