Death: Adeleke Indelible Legacies Would Be Forever Remembered by Generations-Osun APC Women Leader
The Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Osun state chapter, Alhaja Kudirat Fakokunde on Wednesday expressed sadness over the sudden death of the first civilian governor in the state, Senator Isiaka Adeleke.
Adeleke who died at the weekend was described by the number one woman of the APC in Osun as a man whose indelible legacies would be forever remembered by the generations yet unborn.
Fakokunde made the statement in her condolence message to the family of the deceased.
She described Adeleke’s death as sudden, painful, shocking, devastating and very unfortunate, saying he died at a time his wealth of experience was needed most.
According to her, Senator Adeleke’s sudden death was a rude shock to the entire people in the progressive camp.
“Adeleke was a grassroots politician who used his political power and experience to empower people irrespective of political differences. Infact his positive impacts on the lives of the people remain immeasurable.
“Senator Adeleke had written his name on the remarkable book of history. It is on record that when he was the governor of Osun, the entire people of the state witnessed remarkable and unprecedented developmental projects even within the short period he spent”, she added.
While commiserating with the family of the deceased, Fakokunde urged them to take solace in the fact that Senator Adeleke used his entire life to service God and humanity.
She therefore prayed God to grant the family, friends and the political associates of the deceased the fortitude to bear the irredeemable loss.
