Hijrah 1439: Salinsile Felicitates With Muslim Faithful

The Secretary, Osun State chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon.  Rasaq Ayobami Salinsile has felicitated with the Muslim faithful on the celebration of the new Islamic year, Hijrah 1439.

Salinsile in a statement personally signed and made available to CityMirrorNews  in Osogbo on Saturday urged the Muslims across the country and Osun state in particular to use the new year period to pray for the development and progress of the state.

The Osun APC Secretary used the opportunity to assure the people of the state that the APC-led administration of Gov Rauf Aregbesola, which he said has transformed the state, will not rest on its oars until the state finally get to the greater heights.

“I felicitate with you all, particularly the Muslim faithfuls, on the celebration of this year’s Hijrah 1439.

“As we celebrate, we must re-enact the exemplary virtues, typified by Prophet Muhammad’s virtues, through his sacrifice, tolerance, honesty, trustworthiness, selfless service and obedience to Allah’s command.

“This is what is expected of us in this new year while assuring you all that the APC-led administration of Gov Aregbesola, which has transformed the state, will not rest on its oars until we see the Osun of our dream. Wishing you all Happy New Year!”
