Breaking: Osun PDP Reconciliation Committee Meets Today
The rescheduled meeting of the reconciliation committee of Osun state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would hold today, it was learnt.
The reconciliation move initiated by the PDP Chairman, Hon Soji Adagunodo has raised hope for the members of the party.
A member of the committee confided in CityMirrorNews that the meeting would in Osogbo today. But he did not disclose the venue of the meeting.
The meeting which was held two weeks ago was first hosted by Dr Bayo Faforiji/Senator Iyiola Omisore group, while today’s meeting would hosted by the members of the party reconciliation committee members.
A member of the committee said: “Osun PDP has since the beginning of the year been working on the need to be united as opposition and to reposition the party towards the coming 2018 election. With the efforts of the leaders at the national levels in reconciliation and repositioning, I think no efforts is too small or big to do same at the state level.
“We had at the first meeting agreed on four issues and I am sure we will go some steps further today and in some weeks to come, the internal wrangling will be over.”
