Ondo HLPAN Goes Tough On Quackery

The Association of Housing and Landed Property Agents of Nigeria, (HLPAN), Ondo State chapter, has vowed to deal with quackery agents operating in the state in order to safe the interest of unsuspecting clients.
The President of the Association, Otunba Charles Alabi, who made the assertion in Akure, the state capital during the swearing in ceremony of the newly elected executives of the association urged fake agents to stay clear of the state.
He however emphasized on the need to turn around the fortune of the association for better in the area of sensitising members to be trust worthy in all dealings.
According to him, “time has come for us to go against miscreants in the profession, we are responsible men and women, so we must texture confident in the minds of the people
Alabi maintained that the new executive members shall work for the good of the association and that repositioning shall take its cause in the association without any delay.
He later stressed that the association is confronting with series of difficulties one of which is insincerity among members but shall be handled under new administration.
His words, “Generally, what comes to people’s mind when they hear about property agents is the erroneous notion of people who are not sincere enough. We have been battered and we need to change that for proper positioning, we can no longer look away while our collective image is battered.
“Truth is, some of us engage in sharp practices, this must stop if we truly crave for a favourable image, we must be honest in our dealings”.
He also said that in order to curb the activities of these quark agents in the state, there would be training and retraining of all members soon.
