Breaking: Osun PDP Sets Up 18-Member Reconciliation Committee
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun state has set up an 18-member reconciliation committee to resolve the crisis bedeviling the party.
CityMirrorNews learnt that the move was initiated by the factional Chairman of the PDP, Hon Soji Adagunodo in a bid to prevent the Dr Bayo Faforiji led faction from leaving the party as being insinuated.
Both the Adagunodo and Faforiji’s faction have nine members each in the committee.
The committee is to have its inaugural meeting today, it was learnt.
Members of the committee include Alhaji Aliyu Tiamiyu from Iwo, Mr Abiodun (Fafa) Ojo, Mr Ibukun Fadipe, former chairman of Ilesa-West local government and Mr Mayowa Adejorin, former chairman of Obokun local government, all from Adagunodo’s faction.
From Faforiji’s faction, there are Hon Ismaila Kolawole, Tayo Omojongbe, former commissioner of finance in the state, Mr Adetoyese Ojo and former minister for Police Affairs, Jelili Adesiyan.
