Just In: Plateau United Win NPFL

Plateau United FC of Jos were on Saturday evening crowned champions of the Nigeria Professional Football League.

The Kenedy Boboye tutored side were crowned champions after defeating their opponents Rangers International of Enugu, 2-0 at the Rwang Pam Stadium in the match day 38 clash.
Plateau United needed 3 points going into the match as they had a point lead over MFM Fc who lost 2-1 to El-Kanemi Warriors in Maiduguri on Saturday.
Shooting Stars FC of Ibadan, ABS Fc of Ilorin, Gombe United of Gombe and Remo Stars of Ijebu Ode were all relegated at the end of the 2016/2017 season.
