Post Sallah Tragedy: Police Allegedly Killed One In Osun
Tragedy struck in Osogbo, Osun State capital early hours on Sunday as a Policeman allegedly shot dead one Segun Emir at Gbeja football pitch around Oke-Baale, Osogbo.
CityMirrorNews gathered that the victim was shot on the chest when he and others questioned the Police officers after one of them allegedly slapped him over an argument.
According to an eyewitness, the deceased was rushed to a private hospital near the scene of the incident but was rejected due to the degrees of the injuries sustained.
It was further gathered that the rejection of the victim made him to be rushed to Ladoke Akintola University Teaching Hospital, LAUTECH, Osogbo where he eventually died.
As at the time of filing this report the entire community where the incident occurred has been barricaded by the irate youths.
Vehicular movement has been prevented while the movement of pedestrians were strictly under fears.
