CDHR Organises Anti-Corruption Rally Tomorrow
The Committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR), Osun state branch, will tomorrow, Wednesday April 13, organize a mass ANTI-CORRUPTION rally in Osogbo, Osun state capital.
According to a press statement jointly signed by the Chairman and Publicity secretary of the Osun CDHR, Comrades Akin Asifat and Ismaeel Uthman respectively, the rally will kick off by 9am at the Ola-Oni Research Centre, Opposite Aregbesola Campaign Office, Gbongan-Ibadan Road, Osogbo.
The rally will be terminated at the Osun State Government Secretariat, Abere where, a letter bearing the view of the CDHR on the anti-corruption fight of President Muhammadu Buhari will be submitted to Governor Rauf Aregbesola for onward transmission to the president.
Members of the public, particularly members of the civil societies in the state, were invited to participate in the rally.
CDHR, however, urged potential participants in the rally not to come with any abusive or political materials or items that may negate the purpose of the rally.
The human right group stated that abusive words and materials directed to demean any public office holders will not be accepted at the rally.
