Tension as Osun PDP Set for Ward Congress Today
Palpable fear has gripped members of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) in Osun state, particularly the faction of Dr Bayo Faforiji who is contesting for the state chairman of the party, as the party set to conduct it’s ward congress today May 10.
The political fate of the Faforiji’s camp who has the support of Senator Iyiola Omisore is hanging in the balance as they were yet to be given nomination form as 9am of filing this report.
Director General of Dr Bayo Faforiji’s Campaign Organisation, Hon. Bade Falade said the contestants from their camp have not been given nomination form.
Citymirrornews learnt that the congress committee had arrived Osogbo at around 9pm on Monday, from the National Secretariat.
When Citymirrornews visited the party secretariat this morning, policemen and PDP members, majority of whom were men were seen hanging around.
The question agitating the minds of the people is: would the PDP conduct a congress without given the nomination form to all contestants?
