Oyintiloye Lauds Osun Govt On Esa-Oke/Esa-Odo Road construction

Osun State House of Assembly member representing Obokun Constituency, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye has lauded the administration of Governor Rauf Aregbesola for responding to the yearnings of his constituents through construction of the Esa-Oke/Esa-Odo road and many other roads in the state.

Oyintiloye in a press statement on Monday, said the commencement of work on the 9.2 kilometer road was a response of government to the demand made through him by the people of the area.

He recalled that shortly after the creation of the addition local council development areas in the state, the people of Esa-Oke specifically requested through him, the construction of the road to connect them with the headquarter of the new council in Ilare, for easy access.

Noting that the road, was being solely constructed by the state government through Osun Rural Access Mobility Project (RAMP), he said, the projects has the work plan of three month to complete the project.

Oyintiloye further added that the details of the projects, which is being constructed through direct labour, would have one kilometre of the road within Esa-Oke asphalted, while in the remaining part, the soil would be treated and stabilised to avoid erosion.

Disabusing the mind of the community dwellers over the attempt of some political element to take the glory of the project by claiming to have facilitated it from the Federal Government, he said, such element were only being mischevious.

He expressed joy that inspite the paucity of fund, the state government was still striving to meet the yearnings of the people by embarking on community development projects.

Listing some of the other roads that have been approved and waiting for work to commence soon, he identified, Otan-Ile/Ipetu-Ile road, Otan-Ile/Igbajo road, Ilase/Olorunda/Coker/Osogbo road, Ilekete/Ibala/Idoko/Esun/Ijaregbe/Ijana/Ilesa road, as well as Imesi township road which has also caught the attention of government after his legialative efforts.

The parliamentarian then urged the people of his constituency to be more patient and continue to support the government to meet all their yearnings and aspiration.
